I am an Assistant Professor
of Economics at the University of Oklahoma and a fellow at the Global Labor Organization.
I have published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields of Environmental, Energy and Development Economics.
My research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and
the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, among others. I currently serve as the Managing
Editor for World Development Perspectives.
I received a B.A. in
Mathematical Economics
from Colorado College,
and a Ph.D. in
Resource Economics from
the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Before I started my Ph.D.,
I worked for the World Bank Group and
Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
I co-authored one of the
chapters
in the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) released by the
White House.
I also received
the Irene Rothbaum Outstanding Assistant Professor Award for the 2024-2025 academic year.
