I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Boise State University. My primary research interests are in the fields of Environmental and Development Economics. I received a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College, and a Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
I am affiliated with the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences and the Hazard and Climate Resilience Institute. My research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Comparative Economics, Ecological Economics and World Development. In the past, I have worked for Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and The World Bank Group.
